The Recruitment Stage of XTRF™ research project ‘Translation Management System - Users' Experience' has now been completed. The participating translation companies are at the point of implementing the system and beginning to work on their project using XTRF™.

Over 50 translation companies have successfully met the recruitment criteria, as described in our Research Regulations. The companies participating in the research come from all over the world, including: Australia, United Kingdom, France, Poland, Italy, Spain, Germany, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Croatia, India, Israel and other countries.

The participants are currently implementing the system and receiving staff training. At the same time we are carrying out the first analyses of the implementation process, the organisation of work within the companies and the expectations of participants.

By August, the companies will begin to work with XTRF™ on a regular basis. Following the Research plan, they will be working on their own projects, using the XTRF™ system free of charge until the end of 2009. Research proceedings and participants' opinions will be published at the beginning of 2010.
