XTRF-TM is the most comprehensive version of the XTRF™ system, which is intended for demanding medium and large companies and translation departments in corporations. XTRF-TM is XTRF™ Enterprise with the addition of a CAT-type tool, which supports the translation and proofreading process.

XTRF-TM combines the four main areas of the work that is carried out by a translation office or department:

• managing processes,
• managing files,
• translation technology,
• company management.

XTRF-TM constitutes an integrated version of the two leading systems that are intended for translation offices that are used by means of a web browser: XTRF™ and XTM. The programme manages the entirety of the processes that are carried out at a translation office: from offer placement, through project management and workflow, translation and proofreading, managing the database of translations and terminology, right up to invoicing and the preparation of sales analyses. The controlled and automated flow of data between the individual departments guarantees that the information, once entered, is correctly processed throughout the entire system.

The built-in CAT tool makes it possible to automatically extract the source text and apply the previously stored translation memory. What is more, the system enables a translator and proofreader to work simultaneously on the same file online. This ensures efficient communication between all the individual subcontractors, a considerable reduction of translation work time, and the utilisation of all internal repetitions – also in the case of those projects that are divided between many subcontractors.

The technology utilised in the system, based on work with a web browser, ensures the simple installation and updating of the system, and allows you to remotely control work from any location in the world. In addition, thanks to the possibility of working online with a CAT tool, the system reduces the problem of an insufficient number of subcontractors with their own software of this type. The office grants users the right to work on successive projects, thanks to which project managers have considerably greater freedom of action in the selection of translators.
