Just like every year, XTRF™ representatives took part in conferences on translation and localisation services - ATC conference in London and TM-EUROPE conference in Warsaw. Andrzej Nedoma and Tomasz Mróz prepared presentations on chosen aspects of translation company management.

On the 23rd September ATC, a British Association of Translation Companies organised a conference in London entitled ‘Strategic Partnerships for Growth and Future Success.'

In early October, the TM-EUROPE conference was held in Warsaw. Its focus was the quality, terminology and business terms and conditions for translation and localisation services.

During these conferences, our representatives introduced a presentation entitled ‘The latest analysis of problems and weaknesses in everyday work of translation companies - what we would like to improve with the help of the management system.' The presentation was based on the outcomes of the research XTRF™ are currently running. The project is called ‘Translation Management System - Users' Experience' and it focuses on the improvements TMS can bring to translation companies.

Between 4th and 6th November 2009, XTRF™ and Lido-Lang Technical Translations, will also be participating in the Wiesbaden ‘tcworld conference and Trade Fair 2009', organised by Tecom.
