XTRF™ co-operates with memoQ
Among the new functions of XTRF™ 2.0, one of the most important is the memoQ integration module. MemoQ is a well-known and appreciated translation environment. The close co-operation between XTRF™ and memoQ makes it possible to control the flow of the files effectively and to maintain complete automation at all stages of the project.
XTRF™ and memoQ integration enables the automation of establishing, quoting, and realising each project. The source files are analysed by the memoQ system and downloaded by XTRF™. Based upon that, XTRF™ then assigns a rate that is predefined for a particular client. After the quote is accepted, the project realisation scheme (workflow) is selected in the XTRF™ system. The system automatically makes the files available for download from the memoQ server and sends information on the initiation of the project to the previously selected translators and proofreaders. XTRF™ also assigns translation rates according to the subcontractors’ profiles and allocates the appropriate memoQ licences.
When the translation is finished, the subcontractors send the ready files back to the memoQ server, and then the files are sent to the XTRF™ system. XTRF™ immediately updates the databases. When all the stages of the project are complete, the files are then accepted by the Project Manager and are made available in the XTRF™ client portal.
