memoQ – is a leading translation environment that is based on desktop technology, i.e. operating in the server-client configuration. Translators install the memoQ software on their own computers, which can then connect to the main server in order to download the projects that are assigned to them. This makes it possible for the translators to work with a shared translation database and glossary. Having finished their work, the translator or proofreader sends the finished files to the memoQ project server, and the server updates the translation database and glossary.
