XTRF Management Systems is pleased to present the new XTRF™ version - edition 2.6. The system has undergone a host of new enhancements and features, such as:

Integration with SDL Trados

The 2.6 release includes a module enabling integration with one of the most popular CAT tools on the translation market – SDL Trados Studio. The integration provides for the quick analysis of files and easy management of Trados projects. XTRF™ automatically creates Trados projects, assigns source, TM, and terminology files, performs CAT analyses, prepares files for translators, and receives them back upon the completion of the translation.

Project delivery via HTTP

Now, project managers can easily send all project files to the customer, simply by a link. With just one click, the customer can download the zip archive containing all the project files. Downloading the zip file does not require a password, as the link contains a unique ID code generated by XTRF™.

Management of small projects

This function is designed to speed up and simplify the management of tiny translation projects. With this new feature, project managers can enter short texts directly to XTRF™ without losing time on creating and uploading the files. XTRF™ will automatically create a TXT file containing the entered text and the providers will work on the file in the same way as in a standard project.

Resource management

XTRF™ is now equipped with a practical and automated mechanism for resource management. One of the most important benefits of this feature is that the translation memories and termbases that have been added to the resources tab in a customer's profile can now be easily used and updated in all projects performed for the given customer.

XTRF™ 2.6 is also equipped with such improvements as additional possibilities for provider evaluation, more user-friendly rate management, or the possibility of note transfer from the provider to the project manager.
