A few dozen translation companies from across the world participated in the Translation Management System Users’ Experience research programme, organised by XTRF™. The companies tested for free the professional translation company management system at their locations for several months.

At present, the research participants analyse the efficiency and results of the XTRF™ implementation at their offices. Details of the report, containing e.g.

• summary of the implementation and adaptation at the respective locations,
• changes to the company operations after the implementation,
• results and benefits of the implementation,
• return on investment period.

will be available soon. The official presentation of the research results by the representatives of XTRF™ will take place at the industry conference TMS Inspiration Days (link), to be held in March (18-19 March 2010).

Under the rules of the research one company was drawn and received the prize of free and lifetime XTRF™ licences. The prize went to Academy Translations of Australia.
