XTRF Management Systems Ltd. has totalled up its financial result for the first quarter of 2011 – the company reached the best half-yearly result ever, exceeding the 2010 annual receipts within the first six months of this year! Such an outstanding financial result is attributable to the effective company and system development strategy and the rapidly rising number of new customers.

The Meta-forum is a meeting of the META (Multilingual Europe Technology Alliance) Group, an association of European language sector businesses and organisations. The meeting will be held on 27-28 June in Budapest, and XTRF™ Management Systems will have a presentation at the exhibition to accompany the meeting.

Translators without borders is an association established in 1993 that offers free translation services to charities, translating thousands of texts every year, thanks to which these organisations can reach the needy and volunteers in their native language. XTRF Management System Ltd. has supported the foundation’s activity, becoming its bronze donor.

The XTRF team is launching a new programme called “share ideas” within which XTRF system users, as well as other interested people, will be welcome to submit their ideas regarding the development of the system. Such ideas may concern introducing a new function, amending the existing modules, and modifying or even redesigning the system itself. Following a general vote, the winning suggestions will be implemented in the system.

XTRF’s appearance revised – new logo, slogan, and visuals launched in April. The new looks highlight the key features of both the XTRF system and its company - flexibility and dynamics.

TMS Inspiration Days, the “strategy, market trends, technology” conference, is over. It was the second time that it was organised. The event took place 7-8 April, in Cracow, and was attended by representatives of the translation industry from 21 countries of Europe and North America. This year's edition featured splendid lectures and an extremely friendly and inspiring atmosphere.

All participants in this year’s GALA Conference are cordially invited to visit the XTRF stall where you will be able to familiarise yourselves with the system, as well as obtain detailed information about its functionalities and possible applications.

XTRF Management System Sp. z o.o. introduces “XTRF Unlimited”. The new package grants access to an unlimited number of licences of the XTRF system.

In order to meet customers’ expectations concerning data security, XTRF has expanded the system’s offer with an SSL certificate securing full confidentiality of data transmission. As of the beginning of 2011, all XTRF system installations in the SaaS model will be equipped with the https protocol, which has proved its viability, among others, in bank systems.

The topics of the presentations and lectures include, among other things, the review of Machine Translation tools, creating effective sales departments, development strategy planning, XTRF workshops, and many other inspiring issues.
