Just like every year, XTRF™ representatives took part in conferences on translation and localisation services - ATC conference in London and TM-EUROPE conference in Warsaw. Andrzej Nedoma and Tomasz Mróz prepared presentations on chosen aspects of translation company management.

Each year our company takes part in an annual conference organised by the Association of Translation Companies from the UK. This year's event will be held in London on the 23rd September. The conference titled ‘Strategic Partnerships for Growth and Future Success' will focus on the partnership within the translation market.

XTRF™ Translation Management Systems is expanding its retail network. We have now signed contracts of cooperation with resellers in China and Bulgaria. MarketSolution Tech Ltd, a company based in Hong Kong, has become the XTRF™ representative on the Chinese market and Inventica Ltd, specialising in translation company software distribution, is our new reseller in Bulgaria.

XTRF™ Translation Management Systems is now cooperating with the Volgograd State University. Following the partnership agreement, students from the Faculty of Philology and International Communication will receive a multi-user licence of the XTRF™ Enterprise.

Due to the constant development and growth of our company, XTRF™ has taken on a new member of staff. Piotr Żurek has joined our technical support team, who are responsible for system implementation, configuration and current issues related to working with the system.

The Recruitment Stage of XTRF™ research project ‘Translation Management System - Users' Experience' has now been completed. The participating translation companies are at the point of implementing the system and beginning to work on their project using XTRF™.

On Sunday 14th June 2009, the Bartłomiej Nowodworski High School in Kraków will be celebrating the end of the academic year in the Kraków Philharmonic. During the event, the annual Scholarship of the Nedoma Family (all graduates of Nowodworski - the oldest Polish secular high school) will be awarded to one of the students.

At the beginning of May, XTRF™ is going to participate in "CAT Reloaded" conference which is organized by Forschungszentrum Jülich in Germany. It is the third one of a series, after "Who's afraid of CAT" (2005) and "CAT - The Next Chapter" (2007), devoted to translation market issues.
