XTRF Management Systems and Experior Venture Fund have signed a cooperation agreement on the further development of the XTRF company and system. XTRF Management Systems is the creator and owner of XTRF – a cloud-based platform for translation project and process management. Experior Venture Fund is a Venture Capital Fund investing in innovative companies with high growth potential.
“The global translation market is a speedily developing and technologically advanced market where everything has to be faster and more efficient. We already provide our customers with solutions that help them enhance their productivity, improve communication, and answer to the demanding expectations of their contractors. Yet we want to go much further, giving the users even more possibilities and supporting the market to an even greater extent. That is why we formulated a very ambitious four-year development plan and decided to look for an investor who would notice the huge potential of the translation market the way we did. Cooperation with Experior Venture Fund will help us accelerate the improvement of our system and provide the market with new solutions even faster. In the translation market, time has a unique value” says Andrzej Nedoma, CEO & co-founder of XTRF Management Systems.
This four-year strategic plan involves both the system development and growth of the XTRF company. The first keyword is usability. The XTRF system will be rebuilt to adapt its design and technology to the newest User Design trends to make sure that each XTRF user will be able to work faster and with greater comfort. Having a more intuitive and user-focused system also means less time spent on implementation and trainings. The idea is to make XTRF so easy-to-use that the user could start working almost immediately after installation. To simplify communication with vendors, interface changes will also be introduced in XTRF fellow tools such as a sign-up form or a vendor portal.
The strategic plan also includes the extension of integration possibilities. XTRF now offers integration with more than 10 market-leading CAT tools, accounting, CRM, and other systems. According to the plans, the list of these tools will be greatly expanded. This also includes various options of integration between other TMS, much like the recently introduced integration with the Welocalize management tool – Falcon, and finally a comprehensive connector between independent XTRF system installations. Those far-reaching plans require the further growth of the IT, UX, and testing teams. The strategic plan also focuses on excellent customer service experience – equally during testing, implementation, and following the use of the system. Easy access to information and tutorials and advanced help of the sales and support team are the key elements for ensuring that users will get the most out of XTRF and thereby maximize their ROI.
Magda Grzybowska, partner of Experior Venture Fund: “XTRF is a Polish company that has been successful on the international market for years, leading its market segment and withstanding competition from the United States and Europe. We were also truly impressed by the passion shown by the founders and board members as well as by the whole team. This, combined with the excellent prospects of the translation market and a thoroughly planned development strategy for the system, gave us much certainty – investing in XTRF Management Systems is the right choice.”
