XTRF is hitting the road for this fall’s conference season. As we pack our suitcases, we share why we find attending conferences so valuable: from meeting our clients and partners face-to-face, to keeping up-to-date with industry trends, exchanging ideas and best practice, and discussing solutions to your business’ challenges.
In this era of video conferencing, webinars, and email, some might think that in-person conferences and meetings are overrated. But here at XTRF, we’ve found this couldn’t be further from the truth.
This fall, we kicked off the conference season with our own #XTRFSummit. We welcomed almost a hundred guests to the two-day event in Krakow, which included workshops, talks, case studies and best practice sessions, and of course plenty of coffee breaks and opportunities to network.
Now it’s time to pack our own bags and head to conferences across Europe and North America. Scroll down to find out where you can meet us.
Meanwhile, if you’re weighing up whether to attend an industry conference; or are booked in but not sure what to expect, let us put your mind at ease. Below we’ve rounded up three of the key benefits.
The value of conferences
Putting a face to a name
These days, we often know each other only by our email addresses. We’ve found that meeting face to face helps to foster strong working relationships, with both new and long-standing clients and colleagues. Not only do we enjoy meeting you, but it also helps to build trust and mutual understanding. Having shared a coffee and spent some time together makes that next phone call or email more personal.
Understanding your needs
Conferences and industry events are an excellent way to get to know our clients a bit better. By making time for one-to-one meetings, we can focus on your needs, challenges, and goals. This allows us to discuss ways of addressing them together, and even start working on the most appropriate solution. We’ve found that being able to do this in person makes for a highly efficient process.
